The Alliance is a health benefits purchasing consortium created by Crown Benefits Group, Inc. to address the unique needs of union-affiliated and public sector groups. If your group qualifies for the Alliance you’ll retain the ability to customize your health plan while gaining the clout of the Alliance’s entire membership.
Since its inception in 2004, the Alliance has proven so effective in delivering customized, cost-effective health plans that its membership has grown to over 10,000.
Alliance Advantages / Group-tailored benefit packages
Each Alliance member group tailors its coverage according to employee needs and its organization’s financial parameters. Crown will guide your group through the plan design process, prepare requests for proposals, and thoroughly review and evaluate each package.
The combined purchasing power of the entire Alliance membership
Groups enrolled in the Alliance negotiate their rates based on the overall size of the Alliance’s full membership, dramatically increasing their negotiating leverage. Increasing the Alliance’s membership,
as we have every year since its inception, further increases this advantage for all of our member groups.
No entry fees. No exit penalties.
Unlike other consortiums or public sector plans the Alliance does not take steps to “lock-in” its member groups. Your entry into the Alliance is confined only by our annual enrollment requirement, and Alliance members may exit from their plan with 90-days written notice without penalty.
Every group in the Alliance receives the advantages of the Alliance as a whole, while maintaing that group’s autonomy in benefits and plan designs.
